Country-wide 11
Turkish: Ç Ş (cedilla), Ö Ü, Ğ (breve), capital İ with dot - and the dotless ı, essentially unique to Turkish
The dotless ı is essentially unique to Turkish - Azerbaijani uses it too but has no Street View; within covered countries it means Turkey.
Bollards: rectangular plain white + red front reflector, thin from the side (rare yellow snow version)
Romania: Romanian language (ă î ș ț) → Romania; dotless ı → Turkey.
Road lines inconsistent: white, yellow, or mixed; salt-and-pepper pavement common; divided highways extremely common for a Mediterranean country
Chevrons: red-on-white (tip doesn't touch the edge, sometimes neon-yellow border); intersections: black-yellow multi-arrow chevrons pointing up; narrow red-white variant (≈ South Africa's)
Direction signs: distinct font with noticeably wide letter spacing; snow poles black-orange-black-white; stop sign says DUR
Both A-type AND B-type guardrails - seeing both excludes all of southern Europe/Middle East except Montenegro and Israel & the West Bank
Gen3: never an antenna; Gen4: white car (sliver of the back, short/no antenna) + grey pickup truck in some areas + smallcam (low mount, big blur w/ front protrusion)
Kenya: African savanna vs Anatolian steppe; Turkish signage decides.
Ghana: West-African environment → Ghana.
Senegal: French signage → Senegal.
Rwanda: Hilly green East Africa → Rwanda.
Regional 10
Road numbering: O-roads (O-xx on markers); D-roads (3-digit number + section number on top - sections increase to the SE); provincial roads: first 2 digits = province code (alphabetical 01-76)
North = lusher & forested; northeast = treeless grassland valleys w/ round hills (deep green in Gen3, arid-looking in Gen4)
Vegetation metas: Turkish pines + olives → Mediterranean coast; tea → Rize; sunflowers → northwest; vineyards → east of Izmir; cotton → around Şanlıurfa; bananas → around Alanya; greenhouses → south coast west of Adana
Lake Van: biggest lake, semi-arid dry grassy hills; dark volcanic rocks → Şanlıurfa↔Diyarbakır; barren rocky river valleys → Erzurum↔Artvin + near Hakkâri
Roof metas: tiled → western ⅔; flat → southeast + south coast; metal → east; low-pyramid metal → around Lake Van; Nevşehir = big uneven sandstone bricks
Chevron regions: yellow-on-black → Balıkesir + Kars; black-on-yellow → north of Izmir; 4-lane divided w/ only double middle lines → eastern half
